The Road to Bartending: Part Dos

Tonight we had another delicious round of samplers:

  1. Margarita – a classic with a slight twist.  I am not a big Margarita person, so I am not the best judge, but Kristin’s Margarita with Grand Marnier was most excellent
    1. 1 oz Tequila
    2. 1/2 oz Grand Marnier (or Triple Sec)
    3. 1/2 oz Rose’s Lime Juice
    4. 1 oz Sour mix
  2. Mai Tai – I always wanted to try one, but it turns out to be a little too sour for my tastes
    1. 1/2 oz Light Rum
    2. 1/2 oz Triple Sec
    3. 1/2 oz Creme de Almond
    4. 1/2 oz Grenadine
    5. 3 oz Sour mix
  3. Banana Banshee – Absolutely amazing. I love the taste of banana and chocolate. Tonight’s favorite.
    1. 1/2 oz White Creme de Cacao
    2. 1/2 oz Creme de Banana
    3. 2 oz Cream
  4. Grasshopper – This was probably good, but I there was some miscommunication about being done, so I brushed my teeth. I will give this another try tomorrow…
    1. 1/2 oz White Creme de Cacao
    2. 1/2 oz Creme de Menthe
    3. 2 oz Cream
