This is a pretty cool feature that I have never noticed. It might be brand new. When you search for a business in your area, Google will return a map with the results listed A-Z with additional information on each business. On of the new options is “Call” (see screenshot below). You type in your phone number, then it saves it to your profile, or temporarily as a cookie. Google then called my house, and when I picked it up it connected me to the business I wanted to reach – for free. I love it when stuff bends the rules on what I thought was possible…
