Age of Empires III (after I resolved the sound issue) is one of the most stunning and immerisive RTS’s I have played since Homeworld 2. Checkout the demo for this game here:

HP has released a technology called “Quickplay” that allows for instant boot to play DVDs and music CD’s without loading Windows. They accomplish this through a specialized Linux partition. As soon as I can obtain one of the installation CD’s, I will give this puppy a try. If anyone knows where I can “obtain” one of these discs, please let me know. 🙂
I just ordered a GeForce 6800 video card for myself for Christmas. Actually, my parents wanted to get me something so rather than try and guess the right thing, I bought it and they will pay me back.
Everyone have a happy week of finals! I will reminice on what being a student was like.
