As if poison ivy and snapping my neck was not enough, the Gods decided it would be funny to make me really sick to my stomach after eating at IHOP Saturday. I had to hang around the house most of the day, in my death-like state, and Kristin was left to entertain herself.

She reached for a little evil known to the world as “Pikmin” and fired up the Gamecube. For those of you who haven’t played this game yet, do yourself a favor and give it a shot. Yes, some might see it as childish, but it has a way of sucking away your soul.

Through fits of sickness, I swear I heard her talking to the game saying things like “Come on guys, you can do it” and “Get back over here with the group”, and “I know its heavy guys, but you can lift that part”.

Wow. A happy ending though – I felt better soon and we went shopping and such.

And happy birthday to my brother (who never updates his site).

I sometimes find myself saluting and saying things like "NEIN!" or "ITZENKAGAN!" I never knew I know German… apparantly Pikmin does strange things to people.
