Today I got ambitious and purchased a wireless “Range Extender / Access
Point”. Read that as a glorified router. The instructions were simple –
place on the outskirts of the wireless signal, and it will amplify and
repeat this signal to give you additional coverage. One catch, it has
to recieve the wireless signal via a wire. WTF? And btw to those
considering similar purchases, routers can act as access points and
that means you save money. To all peace, to technology…go fuck
yourself.
