SWAN Portal:

The SWAN Portal is a Java / Oracle based enterprise Portal application for Clayton State University. This project is based on the Sungard Luminis framework. The contents of the channels have been customized, and many of them are stand alone applications written in Rails, PHP, or C# and are driven by an AJAX interface. Content availability is determined by roles in our Student Information System, however guest account access is available. This application works to provide a Single-Sign-On system to our campus. The icons in the top right corner of the screen are all connectors to various systems. Targeted Announcements are based off of Roles and user attributes in the system. Finally, tabs and channels are arranged via layouts, and can be pushed, or opt-in to audiences.
